Why Pixblish?
Publishing on mobile devices has never been easier!
Insert text, images, video and interactive HTML5 elements into the Editor or automate the process and have Pixblish pull data from your CMS. Our Pixblish Editor makes it easy to select and apply templates, have full control over your publication, and publish new issue quickly to the App Store and Android market.
Simple integration of advertisements and blended rich content
Adding video clips, audio, HTML5, and images is straightforward and part of the basic features of Pixblish. Publications for tablets become more visually attractive, more engaging to readers, and more appealing to advertisers.
Platform Independence
Tablets are growing in popularity, diversity and affordability. To keep up with this growth you need a solution which is not confined to a single platform or screen resolution. Pixblish currently supports iPad, iPhone and Android devices. The templates adjust to screen resolutions, ensuring your content looks great on any device.
Single issue and subscription models support
With Pixblish you can distribute your issues as you wish: billed by single edition, per subscription, or free. Pixblish supports in-app issue previews and purchasing. Downloaded issues are accessible in the users personal library and can be read even when offline.
No duplication of workflow during publishing
There’s no additional publishing workflow during the creation of your content. The same content that is part of your web or paper based publications can be used for the tablet editions.
How does it work?
Pixblish consists of the Pixblish Editor and your very own branded app.

- The Pixblish Editor allows you to add content text, photos, videos and advertisements to your issue. Edit articles, preview them and publish them to your app.
- Application

- Assign templates in both portrait and landscape, preview them directly on your device.
- Advertisements
- Insert ads as images, images and video, or even interactive HTML 5 modules.
- Kiosk
- Users are able to view cover pages and summaries of each issue. Users can purchase individual issues or subscribe to the publication.
- Import data from a CMS
- We can set up Pixblish to pull data directly from your CMS.
Per Publication Workflow
Once the initial setup is completed, no additional effort is required when preparing publications. Insert content into the Pixblish Editor manually or, in the instance that you have integrated Pixblish with your CMS, the content will be pushed into the Pixblish Editor automatically.
To ensure full editorial control, the layout for each page can be selected in both portrait and landscape. If no selection is made, Pixblish will automatically apply the default layout and paging based on the content. The next step is to generate the publication on the device for proofing.
Editors can see preview precisely how the issue will appear on the tablet, ensuring that images are correctly aligned, and that the text matches the page layout. If any changes are needed, editors can update text, add more pages, adjust layout and regenerate the publication.
After this process is complete and the editor is happy with the final product, Pixblish supports deployment to Apple App store, Amazon Kindle Store and also Android Market.
